Apple created a truly interesting product with the Mighty Mouse; essentially, they've created a one button mouse that is a bit more flexible than their prior one-button offerings, but definitely not a mouse that is catered to the needs of those who depend on multi-button mice.

You will pay for the privilege of using an Apple-designed mouse that is, well, still just a mouse—and not the most graceful one I’ve ever used.

If you have Tiger, Apple's Mighty Mouse is worth a look, but if you're a Windows user or have an older Mac operating system, better mousing options are available.

If you've ever used an Apple Pro mouse, it's just about exactly the same in almost every way except for the extra button functionality.

We found that the capsule shape isn't all that comfortable, it doesn't fit large hands, the scroll ball is awkward to use, and the 30-inch cord can't reach under-desk computers.

There are certainly cheaper wireless mice available. However, the tremendous range, laser-guided accuracy and sleek style of this model make it the most desirable rodent we've ever placed our paws on.

I've used quite a few bluetooth mice and, while this one is definitely more accurate, it isn't anything Earth-shattering.

There are 2 "buttons" but right clicking means actually LIFTING your left finger up. The side buttons need the strength of a gorilla to register. The scroll ball constantly has you flicking forward and back pages as well as scrolling up and down. The mouse shape is uncomfortable....

I really liked the Mighty Mouse until the scroll wheel broke down. The ability to configure the side buttons made it possible for me to assign functions such as bringing up the dashboard and exposé. The scroll wheel started to give trouble about two years into my ownership, and a few times I was...

I got this mouse after the scroll wheel broke on my Microsoft Arc Mouse. I wanted to get a bluetooth mouse so that I didn't have to use up a USB slot with a dongle. This is due to that fact that Apple seems to think that only having 3 USB ports on a 17" pro machine is okay. It's...

Bottom line is that this mouse gets out of your way by removing buttons but these just make it worse. The whole mouse is essentially one button which is depressed whenever any action is taken. Sensors give the mouse the option for detecting a secondary, or right, click. The mouse's lack of...

The mouse ball often gets dirty and requires frequent cleaning which is a real pain. Didn't we get past that with optical mice?. The shape of the mouse is very uncomfortable after extended use. The left and right mouse buttons are not distinct, instead the unit looks solid. They are...

When I got my original intel iMac I eventually fell in love with the mighty mouse. I loved the responsiveness of the trackball and I absolutely loved being able to squeeze the mouse and have expose pop-up all my windows. While right clicking at first is problematic, as you have to lift your...

I want to love the mighty mouse because it has the best scrolling in any mouse. But, the one button thing just really makes the experience of using it suck. If Apple would get that multi touch Mighty Mouse that is talked about it would become a great mouse. Having to hold the command key to...

I use this as a spare for my white Macbook. It matches well in terms of color, but I don't really care - some people do. My main mouse is a Logitech V270 Bluetooth in addition to using the built in touchpad. As a mouse in terms of tracking, responsiveness, and the ability to do...

The mouse fits in the hand well and does a good job of tracking. As with any red light mouse, don't expect it to track well on a redish-brown wood desk without a mouse pad. The cord is a little stiff, which means that it certainly does not fall into a neat little coil like it does in the...

I had a love /hate relationship with the Mighty Mouse. I loved how it was color coded to my iMac G5 loved the idea of the multi-direction scroll ball. However, the problems outweighed the reality of the device: the four touch-sensitive buttons were flakey, especially the ones on the side. In...

I received this mouse for work and at first I liked it. The side buttons are quite useful and the design is great, but after a few days I hated that it didn't have a full-size scroll wheel and dedicated left and right buttons. I had a G9x that I left to my family when I got a laptop and I adored...
