Anyone else concerned at the amount of heat this laptop generates? I monitor the temp and when this laptop gets busy on something it goes well above 78c and into the 90's sometimes. This ok? Something to worry about?

The future of MacBook Pro or Air?
Expecting there to be at least one more MacBook Pro release, Would it be All SSD or an SSD/Hard Drive Combo with optical drive?
The other direction would be a 15" Air with more RAM, i7 Proc & more interfaces to serve as a Pro and as an Air.

Is there a gigabit USB 2.0 interface that delivers meaningfully >megabit speeds that works with the Air?
My SO needs to transfer some large files in a regular basis and obviously it would help rather a lot.

Macbook Air vs iPad + Dropbox?
I've got an old Macbook that I'm keen to update with something lighter as I have to carry my computer around almost everyday... I'd been thinking that I'd get myself a Macbook Air as my next computer, but then it occurred to me that maybe an iPad plus Dropbox could be a solution for me? I have an iMac, Macbook and iPhone at home with a Mac Mini at the office. I have quite a lot of word and excel docs that I sync between my iMac & Macbook with Chronosync... but if I put those...

What would you want on the next generation of the Air
So I think the current Air is getting a little long in the tooth. My question is what would you like to see on an updated Air. I know for myself, outside of a better processor and bigger SSD the thing I would really like is a MacBook Pro style track pad on the machine. I really like the smoothness of that track pad, without a physical button. For me the current Air track pad button feels a little flimsy and is very small. The pro style track pad is really a fantastic tool and I would like to see...
Cases?
Anyone found a good slim but protective case for the air? Something like a sleeve but with something a bit more protective than foam?
Snow Leopard situation
So I have yet another Air turning up. The thing is, since I wasn't in a hurry I elected to have everything delivered when it was in stock - I ordered some stuff which they had on a >2-week lead time - and it will not ship for likely at least a week more. I presume that my Air is sitting around having been already allocated, and loaded with Leopard - will I get a drop-in disc, would it be allocated at the time which stock became available for all items, or would I have to apply for a...

MacBook Air for Hospital Use?
I am a cardiologist who works in a hospital with electronic medical records (NextGen running through Citrix on a good wifi system). A big part of my work involves logging in and out of the system (which takes a little while and is a pain in the butt) as I move from patient to patient (especially if they are on different patient units). I am looking at options for a workhorse computer for hospital rounds. My needs are a small lightweight laptop or tablet with fullsize keyboard and decent battery...

new MBA better?
I have the first gen MBA, bought it a year ago. I have a love/hate relationship with it - LOVE the form factor, screen, keyboard, etc. HATE the performance. It's generally fine but certain situations seem to overload it massively - running a few apps, especially MSFT Office ones, and doing intensive USB i/o, for example. Thing slows to a pitiful crawl and I'm tempted to chuck its sexy aerodynamic aluminum body out the window. I'm debating selling it and buying something new - but...

Upgrading from HD to SSD in 1st Gen Macbook Air
Planning to upgrade from HD to SSD myself. Already went through the iFixIt tear-down series. Is there a PATA SSD on the market with the correct form factor? Anyone here attempted this before?
