Bootcamp Windows 7 - Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth
details
Is the Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth supposed to work in Windows 7 Bootcamp on this MBA? It is running very laggy for me despite downloading the latest drivers at http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/wireless...
Moving the pointer around on a 1920x1080 secondary display is quite awkward -- I move the pointer towards a button only to overstep the mark and have to slow down and re-point. On the primary built-in display the mouse pointer more...

Is the air a viable option for someone just starting web development
details
I recently purchased the 13" 128gb SSD 4 gb ram macbook air. I have just started doing web development and am wondering if this machine will provide all I need going forward. I was thinking of selling it and buying the 15" retina mbp with upgraded 228 gigs of storage and 16 gigs of ram.
So far the air is performing like a champ. I'm just worried that as I start to use more intensive programs the air won't be able to keep up. I plan to do web devel as a career so I need a machine that will last....

Best ultraportable option for video editing?
details
I've been looking for a capable ultraportable laptop for a very long time now.
My previous laptop was an HP dv7. Which was good for its time. But after almost 5 years, the graphics card finally shorted out in it. The HP dv2-1030us had been my backup/portable option, but now its been my only option for about 6 months now. Which is great for all the basic stuff that I like to do (Skype, web browsing with multiple tabs, Office, etc). But if fails on a few things that are becoming increasingly... Read more →

Which MacBook should I get?
details
I am going to get a MacBook and I am confused if I should get the MacBook Pro or the MacBook Air. For both the models, I am going to go for the base variant which is the same price. The performance is almost the same. But I am worried about the storage. I want to have my apps on the MacBook. I can have all my media files in a Hard Drive which is no problem. I am also buying one to learn XCode. Would the MacBook Air 128GB be adequate or should I go for the MacBook Pro? Also, it does not have...

Macbook Air 13" or Macbook Pro 13" for Photoshop/Indesign/Final Cut and watching HD films?
details
I've got a pickle. Do I get the upgraded Macbook Air 13" 256GB SSD w/ 2.0Ghz i7 (3.2Ghz Turbo) with 8GB Ram or do I get the entry level Macbook Pro with 2.5Ghz i5, 8GB Ram and the thing I'm worried about: 750 GB HDD.

So there's three questions here.

Is the CPU upgrade in the Air necessary? (1.8Ghz i5 to 2.0 Ghz i7)
Is there a whole heap of difference in processing power between SSD and HDD?

Could the Air handle CS5 Creative Suite (well), and Final Cut/Motion (short 15 minute projects)?

IP over Thunderbolt?
details
Can you connect a Thunderbolt cable between a MBA and a MBP and go into Network Preferences and create an IP over Thunderbolt connection between the two to transfer files and share internet connection? (Rather than using Target Disk Mode.) I've done IP over Firewire between a MacPro and a MBP.
