Detailed review
My wife loves it so far. She (and I) are still getting used to it since it's our first Mac, but so far it's awesome. So light, so quiet, doesn't get hot, starts up in like 5 seconds, looks awesome. The processing speed is much better than I thought it would be. I was able to cut a HD video and publish it to facebook in much less time using iMovie than it used to take me to attempt to edit videos on my pc with this Kodak software. Using the 2 finger scroll is cool so far also though figuring out how to find programs or how to get media onto the device is becoming somewhat confusing.

She can take it to school (1st grade teacher) and carrying it around is not a big deal. Having to pay for all the software instead of it just coming standard on the machine is different, but since it's our first Mac we'll get used to it. On Amazon it wasn't hard to find a hard case and soft sleeve for protection from scratches for cheap! Having to use external adapters is annoying, but I realize it's what makes the laptop able to be so thin and light.

I can't wait to buy a SSD Mac laptop in the next year or so because I am definitely jealous that it's "her" laptop.
