  • Speed and features The startup Speed is nice but the Application start speed is incredible. I love the backlit Keyboard and the Multi Touch Trackpad. great!
  • Design and form factor Thin, light and durable. Doesn't get hot - just warm at heavy usage. great!
  • Battery life Really good Battery Life for it's size. great!
  • Display Pixel density and the brightness are awesome but I don't know why Apple isn't using a black frame around the Display like in the MacBook Pros. great!
  • Durability It feels very durable and strong - the first time you open it, it is very strange that it is so extremely thin but you never have the feeling of breaking it. great!
  • Expandability No comments good
  • Noise No noise here because of the SSD. The Fans ran on during the indexing of Thumbnails - but this really wasn't loud. great!
  • Portability (size / weight) It is small and very light. Perfect for traveling. great!
Detailed review
After the first few days with my new 13" MacBook Air I'm very impressed by it.
I've had a 2007 15" MacBook Pro before with a Core 2 Duo Processor and a 120 GB Hard Drive and I thought that the new Air with it's Core i5 would be perfect to replace the 'old' MBP.
Don't get me wrong: the old MBP was definitely the best Computer I've ever had (also my first Mac) but with Lion installed, it wasn't that fast anymore - and I need a very fast computer.

So I read several Reviews about the new MacBook Air which made me buy this awesome little Gadget.

The Core i5 and the SSD make the Air so damn blazing fast - the Display is very bright and the Pixel density is perfect. The Keyboard is great and the pressure point is ideal and to be honest: If it wouldn't have got the backlit keyboard I wouldn't have bought it. This is such a great Feature in (nearly) all the Apple Devices and I really don't get, why other Manufacturers don't build them in their Devices as well.

Another great Feature is the Multi Touch Trackpad which is also the best one I've ever used.
The only thing which isn't that good are the integrated Speakers which sound a bit cracking when the Volume is to high.

The USB Ports on both sides are a good Idea and the Thunderbolt Port is definitely future-proof.
One thing I didn't mention before is the portability - it's incredibly thin and light but anyway it's durable.
