  • Speed and features Nothing amazing in here overall. Median speed, median capabilities. so-so
  • Design and form factor Actually slightly less appealing to me than the original Macbook Air. However, a more practical form factor it has to be said good
  • Battery life Decent in OS X - ~6 hours actually productive runtime achievable, relatively poor in Boot Camp (~4.5 hours). Not that amazing however given size of cell. good
  • Display Panel is not spectacular, but plastic-fronted display still manages to be Sony-like in avoiding worst of glare & increased resolution is welcome. good
  • Durability Work in the lid and body appears to have made it more rigid. Still, aluminium in this configuration not the optimal material for building notebooks poor
  • Expandability The extra USB port actually makes the world of difference, but still - not really in the ballpark in this product class poor
  • Noise Shrieky fan makes its appearance on a fairly regular basis, as with the original Air. poor
  • Portability (size / weight) Par for the course for a premium compact ultraportable. so-so
