Detailed review
I have had only one problem with this Mac. The mouse button would sometimes get stuck when depressed. This happened when it was under warranty and Apple fixed for me at the Apple Store.
Other than this I couldn't say enough about the computer. The main thing is that it is 3 years old and going strong. I am extremely dependent on the computer now and I can't afford a new one. So if the computer goes out I am really screwed. I often keep it on for 24 hrs. Also I do video editing on it in Final Cut Pro, and convert a lot of video to H.264 for compatibility with AppleTV. I use it a lot.
It is not too thick or heavy. I've never had a desire or need for a 15 inch, the 13 inch screen size is enough for anything I need it for (except for video editing in which I use an external 24 inch display. With this the 15 inch wouldn't even be big enough).
The features I love most is the size of the track pad. I've never seen a Windows PC with a large track pad like this. It drives me absolutely crazy about it on Windows PCs.
Also, the feature of two finger scrolling up and down on web pages is so critically important to me due to a ton of web surfing. I've only seen this on some PCs where you can scroll down on the right hand side of the track pad. This isn't too handy though with a tiny track pad that is also recessed into the palm rest. The extra 400 bucks you spend on this is worth it for just that feature. I also use the sideways scroll to navigate in the finder.
I also like the keyboard very much. It is very quick to type on.
The style with it's smooth lines look great even after 3 years. I've never seen a Windows PC look as good.
Over the past thee years I've only envied one feature that has been added to current models and that's the 802.11n wifi capability. I use wifi for all my Internet use and it would be nice to have that extra speed.
I haven't really needed extra speed, the 1.8 Ghz is plenty.
All these features are even minor compared to it being able to run OS X. I could go on and on about that. After using OS X, Windows drives me nuts.
Cons:
This first gen model had a mediocre screen (Hard to see in the sunlight) and a weak speaker sound level. White model gets dirty quickly.
