The MacBook 13inch aluminum unibody isn't the latest MacBook in the market, but its just as sweet.
Design:
This Macbook is very sleek, and extremely beautiful. The Aluminum enclosure is protective and not too easy to get to dirty. This MacBook also is original, being the only MacBook (not pro) ever to be in an aluminum enclosure. The keys are beautifully placed, fitting perfectly.
Performance:
The performance is very good for such a smal laptop. I really like. Sometimes I wish it was a bit faster, for songs on garageband and some video producing, but its not too bad. The graphics on the laptop are very good. Games on it are amazing. Its hard to imagine that this small laptop could create such amazing graphics.
Virtualization:
This laptop is a little bit slow on running windows side by side with programs like vmware or parallels, but they work very well for emulating many different types of software. Games can even be played, with excellent graphics, through windows emulation. It is better to run windows xp instead of vista or windows 7, as xp demands less from the computer.
Screen:
the screen is glossy, and some people don't like it as there is glare. I would like to say that there really is some glare, but not enough for me to be bothered by it. The screen is very bright, high resolution, and turns on very fast.
Mac OSX:
Beautiful operating system with a lot of freeware. It has everything that a student would basically need. This is another review, but bottom line of the operating system: very good.
The bottomline is that this is an excellent laptop and if you can get it, you should. Do not think that this is old, because it still compares with the newest laptops out there.
Note: The model With the backlit keyboard and 2.4 Ghz procesor is much better then the one with a 2.0Ghz processor, though for internet and basic computing, the 2.0Ghz processor is still above par.
