I've been working in the IT field for the past 10 years and have always been a PC guy who built all my own machines and networks, but after purchasing this as my first Mac ever I swear up and down I'll never go back to a PC again!

This laptop will do pretty much anything I throw it. I use VMWare to run Windows XP and Vista on it, while also being able to test Windows 7. I play high def video from it to my 44" LCD HDTV without a hitch. My wife uses it to play her favorite games and the reliability and stability of OS X is remarkable. I've been running Snow Leopard 10a380 beta on my MBP for the past couple weeks and I can tell you owning this laptop is only going to get better when 10.6 is released in September!

The only con I can come up with is price. Granted you do pay a premium for anything that comes from Apple, but to be completely honest, if PC makers manufactured their machines with the same quality components they would be priced extremely competitively. When it comes to the MBP and anything you purchase from Apple IMHO you get what you pay for.
