Criteria Comments Rating
  • Speed and features Fast, but buggy. so-so
  • Design and form factor No comments good
  • Battery life Surprisingly disappointing. Worse than many of its competitors. poor
  • Display Beautiful, high, res. A bit of glare, though. great!
  • Durability No comments good
  • Expandability You literally cannot change anything on this laptop. Not the ram, not the SSD, not even the battery. awful!
  • Noise I'm counting heat in here, it gets blazing hot. It's relatively quiet though. so-so
  • Portability (size / weight) No comments good
Detailed review
A really great display in a thin and light package is annoyed by some bugs and glitches, especially relating to sleeping, multi-monitor support, etc.

They still sell the laptop you desire (with all upgradable / replaceable parts!!! Your review is just silly. $2200 is a great value for the Highest Resolution Laptop in the WORLD. Go back to your 1280x800 res HP.

Thank you for your constructive criticism.

This sounds like ( not being able to change parts ) we are not owners of the device but are loaned the device. I upgrade my devices from time to time and want to continue. I understand the screen resolution is great , but others will catch up. I was going to purchase a new pro book, but have to rethink it now. I can't see supporting the decision to lockdown hardware by buying locked down hardware.

@Archieandann

Then buy the machine you want in 3 years not the base model. Thats what I am doing. I am buying the 2.6ghz 512GB SSD and upgrading the Ram to 16GB.

This computer will be a beast for years to come and I'll have maxed it out well past what I need now and probably what i need in the future.
