Detailed review
Pros - great screen, long battery life, solid construction, great touchpad, firewire is back, nice backlit keyboard
Cons - Minidisplay port instead of HDMI, no blu-ray option (still), single audio/mic port (minor annoyance really), non-removable battery.
The new 13 inch Macbook Pro builds on the great 13 inch unibody Macbook released last year. Better looking screen, longer battery life and standard features like a backlit keyboard and more powerful processor and a great starting price point ($1200) makes this a great choice. Apple does need to get with the times and support HDMI instead of the minidisplay port and give people the option for blu-ray.
I've been using my 13 inch Macbook Pro for a few weeks now and have been extremely happy with it. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking at getting 13 inch laptop.
