That said, it's not like you have any other choices if you want a Mac laptop, and we very much doubt you'll be unhappy with any of the new MacBook Pros unless you're one of the few people dependent on ExpressCard accessories or you have a clinical aversion to external battery packs....

Apple did two things simultaneously that are usually contradictory; they lowered the price of their entire MacBook Pro line while at the same time bumping up the specs. The 15-inch version now starts at $1699 and caps out at $2299, down from $1999 and $2499. What's even nicer is that the...

The new 13” MacBook Pro has many strengths making it a good notebook you should consider buying. It gets excellent battery life running OS X, it can game on integrated graphics, its screen looks excellent, and it has fantastic build quality. With that said its all-aluminum design causes heat to be...

Pros - great screen, long battery life, solid construction, great touchpad, firewire is back, nice backlit keyboard Cons - Minidisplay port instead of HDMI, no blu-ray option (still), single audio/mic port (minor annoyance really), non-removable battery. The new 13 inch Macbook Pro builds on...

I own both the Macbook Pro 13 inch as well as it's No Pro predecessor both in an aluminium case. Apart from the card reader and the firewire port in the Pro both machines are identical twins. Both systems have x64 Snowleopard and hold 8Gb RAM. I also run Windows 7 x64 in VMWare Fusion with...

I've been using my MBP for almost 3 years without any problems. It still feels almost as new. My next laptop is going to be a MacBook as well, hopefully Air.

I bought this notebook for writing, some web editing and web surfing. It has more than fulfilled it's mission in all categories. It's so small and light it fits in almost any bag. The speed an graphics and good enough so that I'm seldom waiting for the machine (and i *hate*...
