Conclusion: We like it

Apple's latest non-Retina display MacBook Pro may not have the wow factor of its higher-end sibling, but it's significantly less expensive, and the 13-inch model strikes a good balance between affordability and portability. Though this model is largely unchanged from last year's version, Apple has added USB 3.0 support and faster Intel Core i7 processors. If you're looking for a portable Mac that's more versatile than the MacBook Air and less expensive than the MacBook Pro with Retina display, the 13-inch Pro remains a good choice.

Equipped with a new Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor and Intel HD Graphics 4000, this year's MacBook Pro is a capable machine. Is it the highest-performing system out there? Nah -- and without discrete graphics or an SSD, that's hardly a surprise.

While the 13-inch MacBook Pro remains a well-built laptop, it's fallen behind the MacBook Air and Retina Display MacBook Pro in design, lacks higher-end upgrades, and feels too expensive compared with the competition.

The mid-2012 MacBook Pro is a formidable machine. Like the 15-inch models, the refresh sees it take a significant - if unremarkable - step forwards.

I love this laptop to death. Even after having it for months I still find new things from day to day that I love about it. I spent about $1,500 on it, RAM upgrades, AppleCare and all, and it was the best money I've ever spent. Great laptop, I seriously recommend it.

First of all, I love the design of the ports. All ports are perfectly place and provide required features. The Charging indicator and the apple charging pin is excellent. The indicator in the Charge pin helps to view the charging status. Another notable feature in the system is that, we can see...

The greatest laptop for that price. MacOS is fast and comfortable, you don't need antivirus at all. And couse it's based on linux it's great for web development. But for the best user experience you should buy SSD and more RAM (My model MD101 with 4 gb ram). Design is very good and simple.
