Conclusion: We like it

The 2011 refresh of the 13-inch MacBook Pro adds some key features, including a Thunderbolt port, FaceTime HD camera, and faster processor. If you're familiar with the MacBook Pro, this update won't seem radical, but the ThunderBolt port and faster processors make it a solid step up from the last model.

Not much else can be said about the 2011 13-inch MacBook Pro refresh. It is faster, packs Thunderbolt and has a larger hard drive. If you are after a lighter laptop, with plentiful power, this is the one to go for. It might not be cheap, but it does the job the Apple way and that is no bad thing.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13in (Late 2011) looks great and offers the level of performance that you'd expect from an Apple device. Boot Camp means that you can install Windows 7 alongside Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, although you'll need to buy Windows first.

The late 2011 update to the 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro is a mild refresh, but definitely a welcome one. It comes soon after a massive upgrade at the beginning of 2011, and the prices haven't changed, so we've no cause for complaint.
