Detailed review
After installing the Snow Leopard Update the first thing I noticed was the grey/black background of context menus, which I love. I also like that I can now navigate within the folders in my Applications folder from the Dock Icon instead of opening a new window. These two things impressed me the most. Beyond that I haven't notice any differences. That's not to say I don't like the upgrade.
That said here's what I don't like: used to be able to set password lock at Screensaver and Sleep separately, now it's lumped into one option which forces me to enter my password every time the screen saver turns on which is just annoying. I'm also disappointed in the lack of theming options with only a greyscale or color option available. Again just nitpicks. I suspect that by the time the next OS release I'll be more adept and notice changes right away like I can with Windows. That's the plan anyway.
