Conclusion: We like it

Apple's first earnest attempt to merge usability concepts from the iPhone and iPad with its desktop operating system, Lion is both a solid step forward and, at times, a slightly awkward amalgamation. People with lots of Apple devices can look forward to a more consistent user experience across their devices, even if sometimes that doesn't always translate well to the desktop. Either way, another major operating system upgrade from Apple for $30 is a no-brainer.

For existing Mac users with hardware that can handle Lion, I'd strongly recommend upgrading. Lion is the best operating system ever made, and unless you have a strong reason for using anything else, you owe it to yourself to start enjoying its ease and power.

Mac OS X Lion is definitely a worthy upgrade for all Intel Mac users. Featuring several interface enhancements and useful new features across all the core apps, Mac OS X Lion is an excellent update for the price.

Ultimately the verdict is this: OS X Lion has the functions I need to do my day-to-day work as well as the abilities to drive software innovation and growth through the future. I’ll be using Mac OS X Lion for the foreseeable future.

On of Apple's lowest priced upgrades and yet it allows such a true fluid integration of all operations you might engage in. Full screen mode is a little scary when your a long time Apple devotee, but once you fully integrate gestures into your every day use its a better tool than LaunchPad or...

Enjoying mission control and launch pad and also like Safari's fullscreen ability. It's not exactly open for the average user but with the App store and iTunes, iLife, etc.. most users have everything they want or need at their fingertips.
