- stick it on top of the external display - as an accessory for Intel Core Solo Mac Mini

Along with updating my RAM on my Mac Mini (PPC 1.5 GHz), I'm planning on reinstalling OS X on it. Usually when I reinstall an x86 OS like Windows or Linux, I usually format the HD using DBAN, that totally destroys all information on the HDD, then go on reinstalling the OS. So with a totally blank drive, is it possible to reinstall OS X from scratch? I have never reinstalled OS X before, so any help at all is appreciated. I've upgrade the memory in my iMac and a friend is looking to upgrade the ram in his mini. Will my iMac memory be compatible in his mini?

I've recently purchased a Mac Mini, but, as yet, I've still been unable to use it. I'd like to buy a Monitor for it, but the Apple Cinema Display models are just too expensive for me. I'd ideally like a Display around the 19-22" size, and for it to also look "similar" to the Mac Mini (I know, it's a bit obsessive :P). Has anyone got any suggestions or experiences with other Displays that they'd recommend (or avoid)?
