About
The Apple Keyboard model A1048 was launched in parallel to the second revision eMac in May 2003. Thereafter, it became the standard keyboard offered with desktop Macs until August 2007 when it was replaced by its slim aluminum successor, the Apple Keyboard model A1243.
The Bluetooth-equipped Apple Wireless Keyboard model A1016 shared the same design and overall appearance as the A1048, except that it omitted the integrated USB hub of its wired sibling.
