I was disappionted to say the least when Steve Job's one more thing WASN'T an ipod touch with a camera. Leading up to the event rumors said it would . Now postevent there are rumors saying it had problems. My question is does this mean i have to wait until SEPT 2010 to get my touch with a camera or just wait a few more months??? I have an old 30gb and want to upgrade. But really want the camera Thoughts?
I have a new iPod touch and bunch of existing bluetooth A2DP devices (headphones, car head unit and home stereo). I've connected them all up to the touch, but to get them to reconnect the only way I've found is to tap: Settings->General->Bluetooth->Device Name This seems very convoluted (especially while sitting in the drivers seat of the car) does anyone know of a quick way to connect these devices?
I just got an iPod Touch 3rd gen and am now looking for a good case. I would like it to be light and thin but also protect the device. What are some of the experiences you have that will guide me in my pursuit?

I was so into getting a zune HD then,I had it for about 10 days and it just could not show me why it is better to have it then a ipod touch,so I returned it to get a 32 gig touch.Now I sit hear with a smile on my face knowing I have apps to play with.any body else ever had a moment like mine.
I'm looking for something that uses the dock connector or headphone input. I want to be able to run a 1/4 or 1/8 inch cable and record. Any suggestions?
Talk about a total abortion, what's the point of releasing something like this? At least with the iPhone 3Gs there was some supposed bandwidth gain. The 3G iTouch doesn't even add 802.11n. Even more curious is it appears the iTouch 3G also lacks oleophobic coating. As a 1G iTouch owner I would've probably still upgraded to the 3G if it at least had the less-smudgie screen, but I suppose Apple did me a favor by not adding that feature.
I was wondering, I ordered the 32 Gb model and should be getting it sometime this week. I needed to know what case I could use, can i use the 2G cases? Would the stores allow me to open the box to check? On a curious note, BestBuy Canada has two "3G" cases. Both have camera holes, and one has the volume space on the opposite side! Leading up to the Apple event two days ago there were rumors that they would announce the camera functionality for both the Touch and Nano, but might not be shipping them because of manufacturing defects. At the time I thought that sounded very un-Apple-like because of their fondness for saying "available RIGHT NOW" for products. was the fact that the "new" ipod doesn't have the rumored and much anticipated camera a deal breaker for you guys? if so will you be looking for other devices to upgrade to? which ones?
What are the differences between the 2nd gen model? I have a habit to upgrading to all new hardware but this seems no different to me than the 2nd gen I have. Any differences?
I really hope Apple will come out with a 3rd gen iPod Touch with GPS and/or camera in it. I was disappointed that there was no camera in either gen Touch. I wouldn't mind having the exact shape of an iPhone but with out the phone if it has to be that thick to get the camera and extra parts in there.
Ok, I know this is second-fiddle to the new iPhone 3GS, but for those of us interested, what kind of features do you think the next-gen touch will include. We'll likely see in September or so, but in the mean time, let's speculate! I'd love to see a camera and maybe a GPS chip. . .likely? Unlikely? Dream away people.
I'm really interested in the Zune HD....as long as it supports Stereo Bluetooth (A2DP). So far, none of the released specs mention it, even though the iPod Touch and iPhones 3G and S will support it with 3.0.
