As a previous (well, current) owner of the ipod shuffle the Ipod touch blows it out of the water. The battery life is decent, it charges fast. You can't beat the fact that you can do everything but call someone (can't wait for my Iphone) or a camera, but then again that is what the Iphone is for.
I would have to say that the best feature that the touch has is the video feature, the ability to watch digital downloads in the car is a godsend when traveling with cranky toddlers.
Can't wait to upgrade to the 3rd generation for greater memory.
