Besides spending an ungodly amount on the 32gb iPod Touch when it was released ($499 + $10 just to upgrade to version 2.0 of the OS), the device hasn't really impressed me all that much. I'm a Windows user so my experience with iTunes may be worse than what Mac users experience, but I... Read the full review →
This is the one piece of electronic genius that I could not live without. It does everything wonderfully and exactly as advertised. The only minor complaints I have are the $10 upgrade fees that people with the iPhone don't have, and the fact that the Apple in-ear headphones that I bought with... Read the full review →
Once I got her the Touch she started maintaining her account and purchasing lots of TV shows, this has gotten her used to navigating around with her computer in general, I even noticed her using software update on her mac the other day! Cool little gadget- I like how unassuming it is- it's a... Read the full review →
Bought one of the first iPod touches after having a Nano. I really wanted the touch interface to go through all my audio material on the device, I wasn't interested in the video aspects at first and the app store didn't exist yet. It worked fine for me, since I use my iPod many hours a day... Read the full review →
Pros: -Revolutionary multi-touch -Easy syncing of contacts, calendar, and email with iTunes, especially if you're on a Mac -Sleek form factor -Glass screen -It has the best internet experience on a media player thanks to mobile Safari -Now with the App store, it is the ultimate PDA. The minute... Read the full review →
I will never understand all the fuzz about Apple, and I'm an Art Director. Apple stuff are cute and have much more eye-candy than the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy ... but is all that really necessary to work? When I got it as a gift I was WOW! so cool, so many things it could do, then It... Read the full review →
I still have my 1st-gen iPod Touch and i use it a lot. Besides being an iPod (and a very good 1) I can have my e-mail, websites, twitter, feeds, etc in my hand. The only thing I truly miss on it is an external speaker for Youtube, and that was added in the 2nd-gen, but I can live with it. One thing... Read the full review →
I wish it had a speaker and mic, but I refuse to complain even a bit - it's just about perfect. It allows easy (and fun?) access to all kinds of stuff from where ever I am that would usually force me to sit in front of a computer. It's pretty and flashy, but never at the expense of... The max volume was soo low on mine, I hated the absence of volume buttons and a speaker. It was nice and thin compared to my iPhones. It is said to be the slowest iPod Touch, also slower than the iPhones. Was quite dissapointing owning it after having an iPhone 2G previously. It's good when you... Read the full review →
The iTouch is everything but the phone. Works great, lots of apps. Replaced my long used and loved Handspring PDAs (4 over the years) which I carried for years to keep my contacts and schedule. Only miss one game on that device. And use the stylus was easier than your fat fingers on the iPhone-type... Read the full review →

Made from parts not up to the quality of the iPhone its based on, and it shows. Updates have rendered the device slower. Buy an iPhone instead. Read the full review →
The Apple iPod Touch is an absolutely brilliant device. The simple fact that I use it every day is proof of it's greatness. Why is that? Simple... it's fast, responsive, easy to use, reliable, and with ever changing Firmware (new features) as well as Apps... it's almost as good as a... Read the full review →

As a previous (well, current) owner of the ipod shuffle the Ipod touch blows it out of the water. The battery life is decent, it charges fast. You can't beat the fact that you can do everything but call someone (can't wait for my Iphone) or a camera, but then again that is what the Iphone... Read the full review →

When the iphone was $500 and only on AT&T the touch was the next best thing. It wasn't cheap but I didn't buy it so it was great. Still going strong. Mostly replaced by media players on my phone though. Read the full review →
With an excellent interface and elegant design, the iPod touch is simply the best portable media player ever made. Recent updates only make it even better.
We see the iPod touch as a pretty major turning point for Apple's iPod line. For years technology enthusiasts pondered the possibility of an Apple-made widescreen, WiFi-enabled portable media device, and they finally did just that -- even throwing in a few things that, prior to the iPhone, we might not have expected, like a full-fledged web browser, internet video player (YouTube), multi-touch interface, etc. But after playing with the touch for a few days, it's become pretty clear that Steve was right when he declared that the iPhone is still the best iPod. Read on to find out why.
I love and use this device everyday for my music, checking email, internet, directions... EVERYTHING. It has helped me a lot in a ton of other ways, I have taken really good care of this product and will continue to make more purchases for future products if they continue to make quality products just like this one.
