The earphone died in 2 months and I had to buy a scosche case that has the control button on it. Its a perfect device for heavy podcast listeners.

OK, who here has lost their 3rd-gen shuffle?
The thing's so blasted small, I've lost count of how many times I've lost it. Usually I somehow manage to find it within a few days, but this last time I have yet to find it again, it's been months now... So how many times have you lost yours? How long did it usually take you to find it again? Where did you find it? Where is the most unusual place that you found your lost shuffle? and do you have any weird/funny/unusual stories surrounding any particular time you lost it? (e.g....

Why
Originally posted on my blog - http://ksawyer.tumblr.com/post/187867811/why-i-got... Not that anyone is really asking, but I figured I’d explain why I downgraded from an iPod Touch to an iPod Shuffle. Generally, electronics purchases like iPods are bought in an upward or generational way. So, up until now, I had completely done that. I had received a free iPod shuffle (1st gen, the USB-stick variety) for opening a chequing account. The Shuffle is in every way the Apple gateway...

underwater
Does anybody know of a good product to be able to use a shuffle underwater while I swim laps. It would be awesome to listen to my audible books while I am working out in the pool??
If you're considering buying a Shuffle for working out Don't!
The 3rd gen. shuffle has been out for some time now and I admit I bought it a couple of days after because it was spot on what I was looking for, for working out. I was sooo dissapointed when I started using it. After a few minutes on the treadmill the remote was inresponsive and the voiceover just kept going. The shuffle started acting crazy. After a few of these weird episodes in the center, where I had to stop listening to the iPod cos I was more confusing than helping me achieve something, I...

Where to clip it...
Depending on the type of headphones used, I've found that it works very well to clip my shuffle to the very back of my running cap (along the curved opening where the adjusting strap usually resides). It's out of the way and automatically feeds the headphone cord down my back out of the way. When I run at night or early a.m. before sunrise, I wear a small reflective vest over my shirt. I clip the shuffle to the bottom of the vest and run the headphone cords in between the vest and my...
Headphone recommendations?
I just got the 3rd generation shuffle, mainly for use while mowing the lawn. I've been looking for an adapter or sound-isolating headphone and came across the Scosche website. Unfortunately their products are not due to be available until later this month (July). Anyone have any experience or recommendations? Is a mic with interoperability with the iPhone 3GS too much to ask?
New Shuffle
Any runners out there use this product? I think because of the earphones the product is flawed for runners. Maybe it wasn't designed with that in mind. Personally I think the other two Shuffles are better for that reason alone.
