Detailed review
I currently own and have owned a number of different iPods. The shuffle has been my choice for working out, snowboarding, running, and other activities. The shuffle is light enough to clip just about anywhere and not feel like a burden. The controls on the shuffle allow for easy music control without needing a screen to look at. Overall one of my favorite iPods.
The only Con I have with the shuffle is that it is too light and can easily be left in some work out cloths and then thrown in the washer. (Only happened to me once!)
Also, some different headphones other than the standard iPod headphones would be recommended if you sweat a lot because the standard headphones have an issue with sweat.
