A friend bought a shuffle because it was an extra couple of pounds over the cost of the earphones alone. Has anyone else bought the shuffle to get the earphones and a 'cheap' shuffle?
the size of a quarter? or a shirt button? iPod earrings? iPod wedding ring with bluetooth headphones? What about one of those little American flag pins all the politicians wear? If that was an iPod would it be too small? I just wonder because it seems it would get ridiculous and I'm going crazy trying to figure out how Apple will outdo themselves next! (Remember that teeny-tiny cellphone Ben Stiller used in the Zoolander movie! Maybe the phone will just be integrated into the bluetooth...

I have waterproof headphones to swim with this with. I have a portable speaker. I have the headphones that you can plug the device directly into to workout with. This device was nearly perfect and had great peripherals. The new one is not very appealing to me at all....
A few weeks ago I got an 1GB iPod Shuffle form Qype.com as a thank you gift. After I have had made my 'musical fashion statement' I decided that I actually might want to try to use it as a mp3 player. I ended up using this all the time; I loved how small & pocket-friendly it was/is. Unfortunately, one day I left it in my pants pocket, and the wife was aggressively doing laundry (without checking pockets), and by the time I discovered it was missing the wash cycle was over. I let it dry out for 2 days but it never worked right after that. Still one of my favorite players for the gym.
