Is anyone aware of a WiFi-enabled, Android device of comparable size to the 6th Gen iPod Nano?
I realize that the Archos 14 Vision is of this form-factor. But I would very much prefer an Android-based OS. I don't need video. In fact I would prefer it not. Just want a solid, but tiny, Wifi device with a good OS. I might even consider an iPod Nano if it had iOS and wifi access.

Easy ways of jumping forward in podcasts?
The "jump 30 seconds back" button is nice, but I want to go in the other direction. The drag and drop position marker is not very accurate. With older generation iPod nanos, it was easy to jump like 2 minutes into a podcast by using the click wheel. Has anyone come up with a good way to move forward accurately?
It's hard to drag and drop accurately with a 2 hour long podcast.

Will the sixth generation iPod nano receive new "features" (aka clock faces)?
Apple "launched" a "new" seventh generation iPod with some neat fitness-y stuff. My question, which they failed to address, is this:
Will the sixth generation nano get some of the new functionality, mainly the sixteen new clock faces?

What will Apple do with the iPod Nano on Oct 4th?
I'd like to see a unit which would be a better watch--bluetooth linked to your iPhone so it can display incoming call information, even let you answer with a touch, a thinner profile as a watch (maybe the clip can be removed?), and some kind of solution to the whole problem of having to touch the screen to see the time (maybe use the accelerometer to trigger the display on somehow?).

What advantage does Apple's 30 pin connector have over regular USB?
I'm curious to know what the 30 pin Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad connector (or any other proprietary connector for that matter) has over a traditional USB or other standard adapter.

What do YOU want to see from Apple this fall?
So, it's a well known fact that Apple holds an annual event roughly every September, usually to unveil the new line of iPods. This year, however, there is also speculation that since Apple skipped it's usual summer window of announcing a new iPhone that they will instead do it at this fall event as well. What do you think? Will we see the next iPhone? How will the new iPods look/change? What do you want to see from Apple this fall? Personally, I'd like to see a new iPhone with a larger display,...

Gadget grammar question: is it iPod touches or iPods touch?
What do you think is the preferred way to write the plural of iPod touches? I usually finding myself writing "iPod touches," but I prefer the way "iPods touch" sound.

When do you think Apple will release the 7th-gen iPod nano?
I've been wanting one of these for a while now, and am finally getting ready to buy one next week. I was looking around the Apple site, comparing the colors, when it dawned on me that I have no idea when Apple might be releasing the 7th-gen iPod nano, and that's a big deal. There's rumors of the next nano having a back facing camera, and always the possibility of things like video playback or a build in Nike+ sensor (One of the reasons I want one of these is that I started running with Nike+...

What is the best iPod speaker system under $600?
Will be used with an iPhone 4, iPod Nano 6th Gen, potentially hooked up to my Apple TV 2 for Airplay. Have been looking at the Audioengine 5 speakers as my #1 option right now. Advice? Experiences?

Is there any way to convert the pedometer on the Nano from # steps to miles?
Its annoying to have to plug in the # steps into a conversion calculator online after each run to determine how many miles you actually traveled.

My friend just got one and I was a little confused,
so there is no ON/OFF but also no HOLD button? has anyone found that they accidentally change songs or anything cause you cannot lock the screen from unintentional touches.... .maybe it's not an issue. and about the on/off... I was right to tell my friend that it will just "sleep" and that's as close to OFF as it needs to be.

Alright, here's how the situation goes... $150 gift card, willing to trade in my current iPod Nano. Apple TV or new Nano?
I use my Nano and iPad MUCH more than a regular TV, just for reference...What do you guys think, will I use the Apple TV, or is the Nano worth it?

What no video playback? That is pretty well a deal breaker for me. I love podcasts and being able to see some of the videos can be super entertaining.
Like Diggnation, and some of their antics! I guess it is only an 1" screen, but it still would be cool. Can anyone confirm whether or not this has video playback?

can anyone confirm that it has built in Nike + receiver?
will it need to have the receiver plugged in or not? I'd love it if it didn't need the nub that goes into the dock connector, but I can't seem to find clear info.... I know my 5th gen nano (w/ video camera) needed the receiver plugged in. hope the images they show of people running/working out with no receiver attached are an indication that it does have a built in Nike + receiver.
