I was very excited when I had first got this device. It's served me well through the years, but I think that the click wheel is getting ousted by the now very common multitouch screens we see on the likes of all smartphones and the iPod Touch, as well. Read the full review →
I've owned just about every version of the iPod from the original through now (with the exception of the iPod Touch and Shuffle) and have to say that the current iPod Nano 4G is probably my favorite. The slim design and still easy-to-use controls make it easy to toss in a pocket for the day or... Read the full review →

This model has everything a portable media players could want. FM tuner, video recording, video playback, games, calendar, notes, Nike integration and music playback tossed in for good measure. The iTouch is great but I think this is the pinnacle of the iPod generations. Read the full review →
As an avid runner, I needed something that both suited my everyday life and could be my running companion on long, lonely runs. My iPod nano fit perfectly into my life and it seems like anytime I am not at my computer, my iPod is with me. I would whole heartedly recommend this product to anyone who... Read the full review →
Last year, I was working as an RA for my university. Part of my payment was a charge account at the campus bookstore. The first day I could, I walked in, determined to bring home a Zune media player. I found out that they only sold iPods, and I found myself strangely attracted to the Nano. After a... Read the full review →
This MP3 Player rocks! I got it May 2009. The best thing about it (at the time) was the shuffle feature. If I become disinterested in a song, I can just shake the player and it goes to a random song. The ability to use iTunes is granted, but even so, it (the store) is SO much easier to use than any... Read the full review →

My mother won this iPod in a contest and gave it to me when my old 40GB 3rd gen broke. It's tiny and can barely hold any songs, but the battery life is still excellent, and it hasn't broken during any of the times I've dropped it on the floor/street. Read the full review →
The fourth-generation iPod Nano is easy on the eyes and the wallet, and you can't beat its hardware and user interface design. Just be sure to give iTunes 8 a spin before committing.
If you're in the market for a small player with decent features (especially if you're shopping for friends and family), it's easy to see the nano in the picture. The cost is reasonable ($149 for the 8GB, $199 for the 16GB), and the selection of colors and updated software will lure quite a few shoppers in this direction.
