The iPod Classic refines the formula that put the iPod on the map. Few can match its combination of storage capacity, battery life, and intuitive user interface.

Apple's sole remaining hard drive-based iPod doesn't have a touch screen, can't run apps or games from the App Store, and weighs more than 10 iPod shuffles. But it can hold your entire music collection, with room left for most of your videos too -- assuming you'd actually want to watch them on that tiny, dated screen.

If capacity is your prime concern, the iPod classic is the one to own. But it’s not flawless. Yes, the interface is slicker and sometimes more helpful, but ultimately it’s no easier to find and play your music on this iPod than it is on a 5G iPod.

Read the full review →Complaints about the restrictive file format support, volume level and games compatibility aside, if you're in the market for a high-capacity music and video player the iPod Classic should be high on your shortlist.
Read the full review →Overall, the choice between this year’s iPod classic and iPod touch strikes us as purely a matter of personal preference. With the classic, you’re unquestionably getting old iPod technology, but with superior battery life, tremendously better storage capacity, and faster transfer speeds.

Yes, the iPod continues to have that unbeatable prestige that simply makes you feel good, turning heads at your white earphones while you're walking around in public. This is...
Read the full review →Ah the iPod classic. I still recommend this to anyone with a large music library, or a library composed of lossless music. Apple markets this using "One word. Capacity" and it is the nicest option to those requiring over 100GB of space. After many years of use, the click wheel has been perfectly...
Read the full review →I love my iPod it is probably the most used gadget in my house other than my computers. Since I use it the most it is probably the most scrutinized device that I own. I will list many of the good things but there are quite a few things that I really don't like about the device that I will...
Read the full review →There's a reason the iPod is one of the best-selling players on the market, the UI is great. For me, the huge capacity of the classic model definitely justifies the extra bit of size and weight. The battery life is very good, I can go days of frequent listening with no more charge time...
Read the full review →The iPod classic is an over all sound mp3 player. I have the 80gb version and other than wishing I had the 120 I really have no complaints. I gave video a 3 due to the small screen size of the classic, but I didn't get one of these for video that's what my tablet or phone are for i simply wanted...
Read the full review →I'm giving it a 10 because I really think this gadget is great. I own it since 2009 and it's still a pleasure to listen to music while browsing songs with a finger. Amazing product
