The 5th Generation iPod was a great product. The glossy finnish on the face of the iPod with the shiny back looked and felt great. The UI was simple to use and scroll wheel was very effective. Unfortunately Apple changed the look of the iPod Classic by adding a matte facing which I don't think looks as nice. The 60GB/80GB was quite thick but could always fit easily in your pocket. The sound was good and video playback was smooth but it was hard to watch a movie on the iPod due to the small screen but it was suitable for TV Shows. Mine is over 2 years old but is still going good and in good condition. I don't think we will see an iPod like it again. I hope Apple decide to go back to the glossy finnish on the iPods.
