The iPod earphones are good quality, but break very easily. The rubber around the earbud will come out, then the top piece will just fall out and expose the inside of it. These are great starters, but after they break, I wouldn't replace it with the same ones, just purchase another brand and you will be happy. However, Apple does cover them if for any reason they blow due to high volume. So that is a big plus.
Overall, these are great, but not good for a separate purchase. But the fact that apple covers it if you blow them, and replaces them with new ones, is pretty cool.
