Does deleting a photo from your iPhone delete it from iPhoto on your Mac?
details
A friend of mine has the following setup:

Photos taken with her iPhone are backed up via iCloud and synced onto her MacBook Air.

If she deletes a photo on her iPhone, would it get automatically delete from the MBA?
What about the opposite? Would deleting a photo from the MBA automatically delete it from her iPhone?

No Verge in Reviews
details
I've noticed that pretty much every major tech website is referenced in device reviews except The Verge. They've become fairly big players in the tech journalism game, and I'd always imagined the gdgt team and The Verge team would be pretty close considering their lineage. Any particular reason the site is left off?

iPhone 5 or Playstation Vita?
details
In February 2013, I'm up for upgrade on Verizon. I currently have an iPhone 4. I'm going to get an iPhone 5 if I do upgrade, but I actually also want a Playstation Vita. If I do buy a Vita next month, I won't upgrade my iPhone until December 2013. I really like the idea of gaming on the go with physical controls, and I really like the game selection. They are both in the same general price range. What do you think? iPhone upgrade now and Vita never, or Vita now and iPhone upgrade in Christmas...

What's the best noise canceling bluetooth earpiece that works well with Siri?
details
I've been aching for the Jawbone Era, but I use Siri often and have read reports that it can be a pain/nuisance to use with this headset. Can anyone recommend bluetooth headsets that work particular well with Siri? Apologize if this has been asked before but I see no good way to search this Answers thread. I also didn't see any mention of Siri when I researched the Jawbone Era on gdgt.

Verizon iPhone 5 - Is it truly Global?
details
Is the Verizon iPhone5 a true Global phone? With an International Plan, would it roam seamlessly into 3G or 4G/LTE GSM networks in Europe, Asia and Canada? Is it still unlocked for 3rd party SIM cards if I need to use this to save money on roaming charges? Follow Up Questions -- At first glance it seems that the A1429 CDMA model supports a superset of LTE bands that the GSM equivalent does, but the disclaimers like "Band support does not guarantee support on all LTE networks" complicate things.... How long does it take for water to evaporate in an iPhone 5? And why won't my home button work??
details
So basically, my iPhone was in my dressing gown pocket, and I put the dressing gown in the wash. I realised after 3 minutes that my phone was in there, so I took it out, dried it with a towel, and took out my SIM card. I left it to dry over night, and the water is nearly gone. However, there is still water in the phone, not a lot, and evaporating water in the camera. Also my home button isn't working. Don't suggest taking it apart or putting it in a bag of rice, because I have none. Do I need to... Read more →

iPhone 5 or HTC One X+
details
(All on ATT):: In June I sold off my iPhone 4 and went to the HTC One X. I have an extra upgrade on my account and I have a buyer for the One X, so the question is this: do I stay in the HTC vein and get the One X+ or jump for the iPhone 5?
I do miss iMessage and AirPlay. All of my friends have iOS, so FaceTime is a standard. I have all the apps I need for both iOS and Android so I am not torn by ecosystem.
The things I am concerned about giving up from Android: everything I have is google... Read more →

How does iPhone5 battery fare with always ON 3G, not heavy music listening (+ 1-2 hours of Bluetoth), ocassional GPS and Camera use?
details
  • I WILL keep the 3G always switched ON.
  • Also continuous syncing of some services like Gmail, Twitter, Contacts/Calendar/Task apps, WhatsApp, FlipBoard/GoogleCurrents, SimpleNote, Instagram, IM, RescueTime, some SMS sync app, etc.
  • I am not a heavy music listener: at max 1-2 hours a day but most probably on Bluetooth so let's add 1-2 hrs BT. Music listening shall not be over Internet but local.
  • I will take hardly a few pics a day - 5-10 maybe. Most of the days less/none. No video recording.
  • Video...

Has anyone used Nike+ Running iOS app on a treadmill?
details
I live in New England and Winter is coming. (Thanks Ned Stark.) I plan to start running at a gym, and I like the Nike+ Running app on iOS. Nike says to hold your iPhone in your hand as you run to use the accelerometer, but I would prefer to use the device on an armband. Since my arm moves while I run, does anyone know if this would be accurate enough? Has anyone tried this?

I'm an iPad/iPhone only blogger looking to switch from Squarespace to… something. Suggestions?
details
My problem with Squarespace is that it requires a desktop browser for full functionality and I'm iOS only. The Squarespace app is decent, but I can't add pages or manage them from it. Also, there's no way to rearrange objects or tweak the theme in Safari for iOS. I want more functionality, ease of use, and editing power because I like posting art and supplemental information at my site, http://saysbrad.com — currently using Blogsy for updates. Looking at WordPress primarily, but maybe there's...

Should I Stay (With Windows Phone) or should I Go (Back to Android)?
details
I'm a very simple person, Give me lots of memory(preferably expandable) and a huge screen. Simple right?
I have a Lumia 900, and I love what it does, and I love it for what it isn't, an iPhone or an Android phone. The 920 seems to be the Best Windows available from launch day, but with only a 4.5-inch HD display, and 32GB sealed with no expansion. This doesn't seem that much different from my 900; except the obvious WP8, camera, etc...
Sounds like Android is becoming more, and more what I want in... Read more →

Would you recommend IPhone 5 to a first time apple User ?
details
It may seem surprising but I havn't owned any apple product. I sure have IPhone, IPads and IPods at my home, but those are not mine. I need your suggestions whether I should go for IPhone 5, I have used Windows Phones and Android Phones, Currently I am a proud owner of Galaxy Note but it seems very old now, it has started showing signs of old age. Plus, I am not expecting to get Jelly Bean before the 2nd Quarter of next year.
So what do you guys suggest ? Should I ditch Galaxy Note for IPhone 5...
