- Reception and call quality I'll sometimes have issues with calls on my phone. On occasion the call will go in and out, but most of the time it works just fine.
- Display I'm in love with the retina display on the iPhone 4. I have actually put a lot of effort into finding a flaw with the display and have not been successful.
- Battery life My phone lasts forever. I text literally all throughout the day and also listen to music just as long and it doesn't die on me. I play games sometimes, too.
- Camera No comments
- Ease of use This phone is so easy to use it's unreal. Want to add something? Get it from the app store. Settings are simple as well. I mean, it's not hard to use at all.
- Design and form factor I really do like this design. They sized the phone perfectly so that you can text and do stuff with one hand or opt for two. Not too big, not too small.
- Portability (size / weight) Again it's size is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about the dimensions and I'm glad the iPhone 4S didn't either. Some say it's heavy, but I like the weight.
- Media support I do like being able to do everything through iTunes (sync music, back up info) but I don't like that iTunes is the only option.
- Durability I've dropped my phone time and time again and the screen has not cracked. Even on concrete from low heights. But the edges of the glass have a few chips from it
- Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) There's an app for everything and since tons of people have iPhones, you can find accessories anywhere. I've even found them in clothes stores.
Detailed review
I'm really glad there's this extra space to write a detailed product review. The character limits in the boxes were rather annoying..
I'd go as far as to say that I'm in love with my phone. My philosophy on "big spending" is that if it's something that you are literally going to use every single day and for quite some time of the day, then it's worth spending a little extra cash buying.
I bought a 32GB iPhone (black for those who are wondering), and I payed $300 for it. My mom thought I was crazy, but I have a lot of music and apps and I wanted space for other things as well. My entire iTunes collection used to fit on my phone until I acquired a lot of videos. But even then, everything would have fit on the 64GB iPhone, but I was not about to pay $400 for a cell phone. It may be the greatest phone I've ever had, but I don't need that.
This phone really is insanely easy to use. There really are no complications that would keep the average person from being able to understand this phone. You can rearrange the apps that come with the phone as well as any that you choose to download so that they're where you want it and so the ones you use the most often are easily accessible. And if there's a stock app that you really don't want to see, put it in a folder or move it to another page. It's incredibly simple.
And I really like the "Design and Form Factor" of this phone. Whether I have it in portrait or landscape mode, I'm still able to text and type with one hand or choose to use two, no matter which way the phone is oriented.
I love this phone.
