Detailed review
The hardware performance boost between the 3G and 3GS is great!! Almost zero lag and way quicker app loading times are the most surprising additions. The new 3.0MP autofocus camera, compass, and especially the video are all great!
On the software side Apple is late to the table on most additions including voice control, stereo bluetooth, search.
The biggest loser in all of this is MMS thanks to an always lousy effort by AT&T
My only only true phone complaint is, was, and always will be (until Apple is late to the table as always) that I can't run apps in the background. Surely with this beefed up hardware I could run a couple apps at a time!
Although the iPhone 3GS has its downfalls they are, as usual, easily overlooked thanks to the spell Apple has us all under.
