Detailed review
It's easier to tell what's missing than what the 3GS has. From a purely business perspective, it's the best phone I've ever used by a W I D E margin and only leaves me wishing for one feature, tethering. MMS still isn't there, but will be by the end of September, so I won't include it here. I have used the hack that enables tethering (without AT&T approval) and it works great via USB or Bluetooth.
There simply isn't a better smartphone on the market. I've tried seven of them including BlackBerries (3: 8300, 8800, Storm), Treos and the G1. When given the choice of which one to take with me when I leave the office, the iPhone is the one that winds up in my pocket. Other phones may have a slight advantage in a couple of areas but when you consider the 75,000 apps in Apples App Store there is no contest. I can do more, faster and easier with the iPhone than any other smartphone.
