hi my mums iphone 3gs wont turn off the charge screen no matter how many times i reset it. it goes to the ipod logo then straight back to the charge symboles help plz xx

I just bought an unlocked iPhone 3GS online for like $10, if I put my AT&T SIM card, would it work? Like could I text, call?
I have a Samsung Flight 2, it’s not a smartphone but if I put my SIM card in the iPhone would it work? I have an unlimited data plan, unlimited messaging, and i think 700 minutes per month!

Do I have to update a 3GS to iOS 6 in order to install a backup onto the iPhone 5?
I will be helping my sister set up her iPhone 5 today and it will be easier if we can just back up her 3GS and restore the backup onto the iPhone 5. Does the backup need to be from iOS 6? Or is the best bet to just start fresh with the iPhone 5?

My iPhone 3GS won't allow me to check my gmail or go on safari.
Last night my iPhone froze I had to restore the phone to new. I reentered all my info and was working great all day till evening when I went to search for something on safari and it wouldn't let me on. Then when I went to check my email account it sits with white screen for few seconds then kicks me off! So I deleted the account the added it back and then rebooted my phone still nothing! Any ideas?

Best iOS music apps to use in a car?
I like to mount my iPhone on my dashboard when I drive. Between my iTunes library and Spotify it's an infinitely better experience than what's offered on the radio. Problem is the UI for these apps is small and not well-suited to using while driving. I'd love to find an app that has nice big chunky buttons that are as intuitive as those on your car's stereo. Anyone have any recommendations?

Bluetooth remote control?
I have been searching for days for a specific product. I'm trying to find a simple, small, bluetooth remote control for a smartphone, and it doesn't seem like such a product exists.
I have a car with bluetooth phone support, but not A2DP, so I've purchased a Tunelink to get music and podcasts to my car stereo, and I love it! It seems that as every iPhone comes out, they seem to get heavier. The 3GS was 4.8 ounces (135 grams), the 4 was 4.8 ounces (137 grams) and the 4S was 4.9 ounces (140 grams).

How to back-up game save data iOS 5 without jailbreaking?(Phone Disk and iExplorer don't work)
Google search and searching gdgt points me to programs like Phone Disk or iExplorer. I imagine that with iTunes 9 and iOS 4, such programs worked reasonably well.
However, it appears that some change in iTunes 10 broke this and the app makers haven't caught up:

Using an old iPhone 3GS with a prepaid SIM
I have my old iPhone 3GS sitting in a desk drawer, gathering moss. I was wondering if there is a way to set it up with a prepaid SIM to only make phone calls. I'd like to give it to my little brother so he can make phone calls with it and only use data when he's on WiFi, is that possible?
