It's hard to think of any other device that's enjoyed the level of exposure and hype that Apple found in the launch of the first iPhone. Who could forget it? Everyone got to be a gadget nerd for a day; even those completely disinterested in technology seemed to come down with iPhone fever....

Apple has eliminated so many annoying little hang-ups that you might run into when using the old one. The GPS pinpoints to meters instead of blocks. The 3G connection slashes web loading times by minutes to seconds. The more rounded case feels great in the hand. And most importantly the new software...

The iPhone 3G represents the birth of a new computing platform. It's also one very cool phone. While it's not perfect, it makes other options on AT&T look tired.

The iPhone 3G delivers on its promises by adding critical features and sharper call quality. The iTunes App Store is pretty amazing, and the 3G support is more than welcome. Critical features still are missing, and the battery depletes quickly under heavy use, but the iPhone 3G is a big improvement...

So the iPhone 3G is a nice upgrade. It more than keeps pace with advancing technology, and new buyers will generally be delighted.

If you’ve been waiting to buy an iPhone until it dropped in price, or ran on faster cell networks, you might want to take the plunge, if you can live with the higher service costs and the weaker battery life. The same goes for those with existing iPhones who love the device but crave faster...

Love it or hate it, there is no denying that Apple has raised the bar on the interface front. It might not be the tech spec king compared to the likes of the HTC Diamond but from a usability point of view for the consumer it is hard to beat.

While not everything on my wish list made it onto the new device, Apple has raised the bar with iPhone 3G. To which I offer an enthusiastic thumbs up.

The computer and the apps are fantastic. But if you actually want to use it as a phone you have to turn off 3G at least in the Chandler area of AZ. I would be able to understand if we were in a mountain area or an area with peaks and valleys but this area has to be one of the flattest areas on...

This phone is the most beautiful piece of technology you'll find in the mobile market. The Apple school of design is certainly in full effect, as every aspect of the user interface is smooth and intuitive. But what really makes it shine is the App store and the tens of thousands of apps...

I love all the features. I have my email accounts, Google calander, Facebook, Myspace, Bank's App, Evernote App, Password Keeper App, And Games. I also love the ability to sync with the contacts on my gmail account. The 3G web browsing is very fast compared to my last phone. I also never...

I have had my Iphone 3G for almost a year, which has given me plenty of time to learn all of its quirks and strengths. This is the longest I have ever owned a smartphone of any sort, and I really love it. The web surfing and touch screen are beter than any other device I have owned. The downside...

First of all, let me say that I don't own any of the smartphones I have. I refuse to pay for data plans. Every smarthpone I have is supplied by my employer and I use them to some extent every day. That said, there are a lot of things I like about this phone. The WiFi option works far better...

Does just about anything I need it to. Make calls, text, check email, send MMS (soon, hopefully), browse the web, play games, do work, enjoy music and videos. The iPhone 3G changed cellphones forever. No longer will they just be cheap plastic devices used to make calls. No, now they are portable...

I really like my iPhone, but after owning it for 18 months it seems like it is wearing out. The battery life is dropping. The menus seem more sluggish. The podcast list is really laggy, it takes 30 seconds to scroll through the list of podcasts, and I don't have that many. Also, AT&T 3G is...
