Detailed review
When I unwrapped my first-gen iPhone on Christmas 2007, I took a step into a way of thinking that can never be reversed. The iPhone organized my life, entertained me with it's many webapps, and was just plain awesome. This is the device that changed the way we look at smartphones. Of course it will always be one-upped by its apple decendants, but it will always be the first to make us say "wow" about a cell phone.
Back when it first came out, the edge data network seemed so fast, but now that the access to 3G is growing (and even 4G), edge just doesn't cut it anymore. It was a great device for it's time but quite outdated now.
The aluminum casing stood up well to scratches and drops. I am happy that it just dented when I dropped it on pavement, instead of just shattering. As you very well know, this is a great phone, and the service fees were worth it.
(ps. I REALLY REALLY WANT TO WIN THE SONY DSLR!!!!!! PLEASE!?)
