I owned an iPhone 1st Gen after android was on the scene and though I prefer android, no android hardware at the time matched that of the iPhone. It was ahead of its times even with all its glaring flaws. The phone that started a wave of hardware and software has to be given some credit.

Some dropped calls. Some simple features missings, like bluetooth file transfers, etc. Everything must go through iTunes is a major con – limited format support and no use as flash.
