Possibilities with mac mini
details
I've been holding out on buying a new personal laptop since 2007. I've used my work laptop (Thinkpad X220) when I need to at home, but there's still some things you never want to download or store on your work laptop. I've bought the 3rd gen iPad and use it in place of a laptop for basic browsing and love it overall. The main reason I've held out on a new laptop is that I want an iMac, MBA or MBP, but don't see myself investing the time using it to justify the price tag. (I also don't have a... Read more →

Anyone have recommendations for a Bluetooth keyboard that will work with Windows 7 as well as iOS (iPad)?
details
Looking for a new keyboard for up at work and ideally I would like to have a Bluetooth wireless keyboard that I could bind to both my Windows 7 laptop as well as my iPad and then toggle back and forth between the two as needed. Effectively I am looking for something similar to the new Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/keyboards/keyboards... solution, but for Windows. Any ideas?

What's the best capacitive pen / stylus for iPad?
details
For a while I've been wanting to pick up a capacitive pen stylus for note-taking / sketching ideas on my iPad, but most seem to have a pretty blunt end (intended to emulate a fingertip, no doubt). I'm looking for something light, perhaps with a tip for finer detail work (and a clip might be nice, I suppose). Any suggestions / experiences with capacitive styluses?

details
I was having some really annoying issues with the new iPad, primarily that I couldn't get iTunes to see the device if it's wasn't connected with USB. All the proper settings were set (I'm pretty sure) and iTunes already recognized my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 just fine over Wifi.
The problem went beyond iTunes, as well. I was also unable from the iPad to see any other device on the home network, meaning Remote, SplashTop, AirVideo, etc. wouldn't work. I tried everything I found on every forum out... Read more →

Why can't I play 3D games on my iPad(1st gen) running iOS 5.0.1?
details
I did a test on my iPad(1st gen) playing a few 3D games(GTA 3, Infinity Blade II, etc). Every time I started playing one, the app would crash due to low memory(iOS crash reporter). When I started the same games on my factory reset iPad they would play run fine. The iPad also felt 'faster'. So why is this happening? Is it because of Springboard? iCloud? Push notifications? iOS 5 in general?
Please don't say to 'close running apps' because I did, but we all know that doesn't mean anything..... Read more →
