Verizon LTE "advertising vs reality"
details
My home is condersidered to be in Verizon's Extended Coverage area. I had two bars of LTE connectivity upon activating my 3rd Gen iPad at my home. I traveled to San Fran and couldn't connect. I followed some online instructions that suggested resetting Network Settings to factory default. Voila! I was connected to LTE once again. I came back to my home town and, once again, only 3G connectivity. Resetting wouldn't work. I found another online resource that said to use the "Request Reprovision"... Read more →

What's better for me? The new Ipad or Ps Vita?
details
To start off I am an owner of a smartphone as well as an Ipod and many other electronic goods. I want to update my collection, I've never had a Psp before. I do have a Nintendo Ds which is quite old and I never use it. My Ipod is currently unused as I've temporarily miss-placed the charger. I'm searching for a rather portable device, which I know goes more in favor of the Vita but I want a product worth the cash (not that I don't think the Vita isn't but you get my point, right?).
I am a gamer... Read more →

What is the best iPad stylus, glides smoothest across the screen?
details
I just received my order of CCM® Capacitive iPad Stylus 3-Pack / iPad 2 Stylus, but the tip doesn't seem to glide as smoothly as my previous stylus which I purchased on clearance from Best Buy and promptly lost. Any one have suggestions for a stylus that glides/swipes across Apple's glass as well as screen protectors with as little resistance (preferably none) as possible?

Best Case For White iPad
details
I've been looking around for a case solution that complements the white iPad. I was wondering what people are using!
I really like the twelve south Book Book 'case' but it secures the iPad by black elastic bands over the white body -- doesn't look the greatest IMHO. Also one of peoples main complaint of this case is the elastic covering the screen or the camera. This shouldn't be an issue at $70.
Another option is a smart-cover but with stash it in a Timbuk2 sleeve case for transport. Anyone else...

What's the best capacitive pen / stylus for iPad?
details
For a while I've been wanting to pick up a capacitive pen stylus for note-taking / sketching ideas on my iPad, but most seem to have a pretty blunt end (intended to emulate a fingertip, no doubt). I'm looking for something light, perhaps with a tip for finer detail work (and a clip might be nice, I suppose). Any suggestions / experiences with capacitive styluses?

What size storage should i get for the new iPad?
details
So I will be getting a new iPad in the next couple of weeks. I already decided that I want a LTE version but I have no idea what storage size i should get, 32 or 64? I know 32 to 64 is only $100 more but $100 is $100. I dont plan on having too much video or any music. I have an iPhone 4S and a iPod nano watch that pretty much store my entire collection of music that I listen to. So i would pretty much use the iPad for apps and some video. Im thinking 32 may suffice? Any thoughts would be...

How do (iPad-optimised) 1024x768 websites look on the new iPad?
details
Hi, we use our iPad1 mostly for web browsing (85%+). A lot of web sites have been optimised for the iPad's (1&2) screen size of 1024x768 e.g. gdgt, ebay. Before I buy a new iPad, I'd like to know how these websites look on the new iPad. I'm already sure they'll render faster.
Can someone please tell me how a site like gdgt.com or ebay.com is rendered on the new iPad - does it look like a sharper version of the iPad(1&2) screen, or is the site rendered at full resolution with large white... Read more →

LTE Hotspot speeds?
details
I'm using the speedtest.net app on my iPad to test Verizon's LTE bandwidth. Depending on proximity to towers, I'm getting between 10-30Mbps download. I'm pretty pleased. However, when I run the same app on the iPhone tethered to the iPad's hotspot via wifi, I'm getting about 50% of the speed. Similarly, if I run the speedtest.net tests on my PC browser while tethered to the iPad, I'm also seeing about a 50% drop relative to the speeds I see directly on the iPad. Anyone else seeing similar...
