I currently own the 3G iPad 2 and have been amazingly impressed with just how useful I have found the device. With most of the new features on the "new iPad" being minor changes or simple refresh updates, I am wondering who here on gdgt is planning on upgrading to the "new iPad" even though they may currently own an iPad 2 already. Historically, the iPad has had 6 models - three different storage options (16, 32, 64) for WiFi only and three for WiFi + 3G. With the introduction of iCloud and especially the iTunes component of iCloud, will Apple just continue making models with the same amounts of storage space (maintaining the 16 GB base model would be cheaper for Apple)? I was wondering what you think of the rather new PhotoStream service. I've been using it quite a lot (or trying to) - and I don't like it very much so far. It simply doesn't work well for me most of the time. For example, last night i got back home from a two days trip and imported all my DSLR photos into iPhoto (about 200 RAW photos). Seems like a worthwhile topic of discussion is predictions for 2012. I know a lot of podcast hosts are doing it around now since it gives them a podcast to drop in the hopper while they're off on vacation. A number of sources are speculating that the new iPad 3, which is expected to be announced within the next two months, could possibly see an increase in resolution, a new processor, thinner and lighter design, and an improved camera.

Hey guys, I'm looking for recommendations for a good combo for my iPad of a stylus + PDF annotation app. I am looking for a combo that will let me efficiently and comfortably enter handwritten notes on PDFs. Any ideas? I must say that I have already seen several styluses which didn't seem good enough for accurate handwriting (I want to carefully write notes on top of a PDF - not just write some free form text), so I'm wondering if it's even a realistic expectation from the iPad...
