If you own a new iPod, the Apple In-Ear headphones are a great value. Owners of older iPhones and iPods will have to decide whether the mic and remote compatibility issues are worth overlooking for the substantial boost in sound quality.

The In-Ear Headphones are comfortable, fit well, and provide a great overall sound. Though other models may feature subjectively better bass, few match the design, and I expect all but bassheads will be satisfied with the sound quality.

We recommend you shop around and try out different headphones, both for their fit and to get a feel for their sound. We'd guess that you could find a better set of headphones for the money, but if you really prefer the Apples to other options, they aren't a bad value.

There’s no doubt that the new In-Ear Headphones are an improvement on the standard iPod earphones, but we couldn’t describe them as a ‘must-have’ accessory as there are several sets of headphones available that can match them for both price and audio quality.

It's not saying much that these are the best headphones Apple has ever produced, but they are the first to give the likes of Sennheiser or Shure a run for their money. Good sound, good design, and a good bundle, but for pure audio quality they're still a little way behind the best.

...Apple has again delivered earphones that won’t satisfy all listeners. This time, however, it has a strong microphone and clean remote control on its side, which may be enough to satisfy some users...

The Apple in-ear earphones with remote and mic then are a bit hit-and-miss. They're a worthy upgrade if you're stuck with standard iPhone cans, but only as long as you don't mind that the inline volume controls don't work.

Great sound, very comfortable, LOVE the remote, and they go extremely well with my iPod touch 4G. Great buy, find them third party though, they're rather expensive from Apple.

They kept falling out of my damn ears! Other earphones don't have this problem, but i am willing to accept that your results may vary.

I've never heard a pair of Apple headphones I've liked until now. I find these in-ear headphones offer, honest, accurate sound. Highs are clear, mids are detailed, with surprising deep bass extension. All in-ear headphones are dependent on fit, however, and that's where these...

I would purchase these headphones again. They have full integration with the iPhone with the remote and mic. The 3 different size ear tips are great to have, as I have small ears, the ear buds that came with the iPhone do not fit in my ear nicely. They provide good sound quality, but don't seem...

i was intrigued by the dual drivers and cheap price. i've gone through many iphone ear phones ( v-moda, ultimate ears) and eventually they all lose the sound from one of the channels. this is not the problem with these ear-phones, though i imagine eventually they would have gone down that...

Overall, a nice looking set of headphones with decent sound. The mic/remote works better than many other brands/models I've tried, and are a welcome addition.

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on these things over the last year, but when used properly (IN the ear, not ON the ear), you get a really superb sound quality, for earbuds. You really hear all the low tones that simply escape you when wearing tinny ear buds while riding a public transit bus....

In general I am rather satisfied with the purchase. I find them useful and enjoy using them. There are some minor issues, but non that would be a deal breakers. The price point is my main issue and even dual drivers trade-off does not convince me. If you are not too demanding and need a good...
