Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic
latest questions
I've been really careful with my headphones, and already on my second pair, but for some reason the rubber parts fall apart and deteriorate. Has anyone else had this happen?

Is it possible to purchase a headphone jack remote for the iphone4?
Apple's iphone comes with a pair of headphones with a mic/remote. I'm not a fan of their headphones, so I was hoping to find a standalone remote that I can plug my own headphone into. Apple had a remote for the 3rd gen iPod classic that would allow you to play/pause/forward/back etc. I'd like to purchase such a remote that works with the iPhone 4, so I dont have to keep fumbling for the phone to change songs. I'd like a standalone remote because I chew through headphones pretty quickly. It...

How do you securely attach the tips?
So, how do you securely attach the rubber tips to these headphones? I'm finding that one side is constantly coming off, often while I'm wearing them. So, I end up having a rubber tip stuck in my ear, which results in some crazy panic when I'm in public as I try everything to get it out. What gives? How the heck to I securely attach these to the headphones? Or should I just carry a pair of tweezers with me everywhere I go?

Has anyone experienced any "shocks" fron the ear piece while it's in your ear? I've been experiencing this lately.
It doesn't hurt but it's annoying.
Apple In-Ear Headphones causing iPhone to pause while playing music?
I use the Apple In-Ear Headphones as my primary headphones. Recently, I have started training for a half-marathon, and am using these headphones daily. I have begun to encounter an issue where the headphones cause music playing on my iPhone to pause without me pressing the pause dongle. It has started occurring so frequently that I can't use them to listen to music. Anyone else experiencing this?

Headphones shocked my ears all the time
I was constantly being shocked through my ears when I used these. I was told that it was a normal issue related to the metal drivers. This wasn't walking with socks on carpet, it was just using them with shoes walking around outside, and it happened pretty damn frequently and was very uncomfortable. I eventually just stopped using them.

Current product not the same as release product
I bought these the day they came out. They were great. And a great price. One of the ear buds broke. Still under warranty, I went to the Apple Store and replaced them. The ones they are selling now have noticeably thinner wires, and no rubberized plug. Steve leaves for a few months, and they cheapened his products in his absence.

Need Small Caps
I love these headphones, but the caps are so hard to lose! I lost one of my small caps and have medium and large ones that I'd be willing to trade with anyone that doesn't use their small ones. Any help, guys? Thanks!

volume control on 3G
Does the volume control work on the iphone 3G? I can't get mine to work if they do, but somehow I vaguely remember that the volume might only work on the ipod touches? Is that right?
