Just got the 4s this week and im wondering about something. I can see the geolocation data on the iphone photo app but when i transfer these to iphoto, the pics seem to lose that geolocation data. Am i doing something wrong? Missing a setting in iphoto? I can manually set that data in iphoto but that seems like twice the work!
I was wondering if its possible to stream a web link to my appletv? Lets say I live I an area where i sometimes can't watch my fave NFL team on tv but there are options online. I'd like to be able to watch that upstairs. Any software that does this?
i'm looking for a gamepad to be used on osxlion and my 24" imac. i want to use it to play GTA:San Andreas (downloaded via the app store) and even games with steam. anyone have some recommendations? i looked online last night & didn't find too much. a logitech gamepad and possibly using a ps3 controller
Works on other user accounts on my iMac but not on mine. All user accounts at home including mine are standard. I use a separate account for Admin. Two finger swipe works at time but with a considerably fast or forceful gesture. Mostly you can see that the previous or next pages or safari show up a bit but the current page just springs back - refusing to move. Have checked my preferences, sensitivity, reset a d repaired the trackpad, deleted the .plist file (unless there are more). Would be good...

Between a desktop connected via wired ethernet to Airport Extreme 5th Gen (Gigabit ethernet) connected via a powered USB 2.0 hub to an external USB hard drive which spins at 5400RPM, what would be speed bottleneck? My optical drive has pretty much burned out and needs to be replaced. Apple of course, charge approx. $500 to replace it. A raw drive should cost under $100. The specs list an Optiarc AD-5630A, however, this drive is very difficult to find online. Has anyone else substituted a different replacement drive successfully?
I've had my 2nd gen 24" iMac for about 3 months now and I'm just starting to notice ghost images on the screen especially with text. I run spaces and if I switch desktops after using my browser for an hour or more to iPhoto for example I can see and read some of the text from safari on the grey iPhoto background. Hi, I've had my iMac for about a year now, and after some time, brown-greyish stains started to appear behind the glass, just below the top border and stretching about half the width of the display. Especially with white underneath it, the stains are pretty obvious. My iMac is starting to get these sort of semi-circles at the corners of the screen that look like they're burned into the back of the glass. It has happened before and I took it in to the Apple repair center, and they opened it up and said that it was just dust so they cleaned it out. However, the lines are back. I'm still under AppleCare, but that runs out in about a year, and I don't really want to have a computer with streaks and lines running all across the monitor. Has anyone...
I've been trying to load Windows 7 through Boot Camp to play around with but every time Boot Camp goes to partition my drive I get an error that some files could not be moved. I know sometimes this is because there is not enough free space but I have 90GM free! I created a backup of my Mac HD and rebooted from my install disk and had the disk utility erase it and reload the backup on to it so I'm going to see how it did tonight. Fingers crossed!
