While I wont get into specifics with the entire router, I must say this, I was impressed. I am a PC guy through and though, but the specs on this router were very impressive. Wireless A/B/G and N, wireless printing, and the ability for a network drive. I instantly got one. However, here come the... Read the full review →
ORIGINAL REVIEW – Dec. 2009 As far as my services go, we have AT&T's Elite (if you can call it that) DSL service. For years my parents have opted to go with the decent but otherwise middle-of-the-road gateway that AT&T (then SBC) provided as a step up from a simple modem. AT&T's brand of... It vastly outperforms both my old 'mushroom' Airport Extreme, and the Linksys WRT54G, in signal strength and reliability. I used to need to Airport expresses to bridge between my router and my office. Now I only use the Airport Extreme. I don't know if it is the wireless 'n'... Read the full review →
So I had something very specific that I needed with this device. I wanted to get my entertainment center on the internet, as well as stream media to my xbox.. all without any hiccups. Add to that I still have two other devices on G that I needed hooked up. So a combination of the Airport Extreme and... Read the full review →
I have this set up as my primary wireless router and have a USB 2 hub connected to it with a printer and a hard drive both connected to the hub. The hard drive is my Time Machine drive for my MacBook Pro; since an update was made in Snow Leopard, Time Machine works without fail and without... Read the full review →

I have had this unit for around 4 years and it has worked very well. Set up is very easy, especially for someone with little technical knowledge. Because our home office is located in the basement of our home, which also happens to be the location of our router, it was necessary to get an additional... Read the full review →

If you want a standalone router and want to get a wireless internet in your home, then it's fine. But if you want to setup WDS mode with other Airport products than it's simply painful. And about range in 5GHz mode the range gets too short and even the Airport Utility that lets to configure the... Read the full review →
Picked this baby up from BestBuy, plugged it in, set it up and have not had to reset it once in 18 months! I've recently paired this with a Motorola SB6120 to give me the fastest possible, cable-based, home network. Apple's AEBS has been the one item that has opened the most doors into... The setup is a bit more complicated than the usual - you need to use software instead of a web interface, and I had some problems connecting it to the Internet, but I sorted these out fairly quickly. I think the only time I've ever had to turn off my AirPort is when I moved house. Unlike my... Read the full review →
Dual Band draft 11n router with gigabit Ethernet, print and file servers. This review is for the original version. Current version supports simultaneous dual band operation (two radios).
Summary: Latest version of Apple's 802.11n router with allegedly-improved wireless performance. Pros: Two radios for simultaneous dual-band operation. High routing speed. Cons: No web administration. Poor wireless range performance. Can't use 40 MHz mode in 2.4 GHz. No jumbo frame support. Disk sharing choked on 1 GB file transfer.
