The 2009 version of the AirPort Extreme Base Station packs in a ton of features, as well as speed, into a small, reasonably priced package. If you’re looking to replace your current Wi-Fi router, you can’t go wrong with the AirPort Extreme.

The Apple AirPort Extreme is meant to be a close cousin to the Apple TV, but it's an excellent router for Mac users who own an 802.11-enabled notebook. It's a smart, fast, and user-friendly wireless wonder.

I just bought my second airport extreme, I have had the last two generations. Both are dead simple, and fast. I currently use the new one not only as my router but also as my NAS. I get decent throughput from it wirelessly (1-3 MB/s) and really fast throughput wired (5-10MB/s). I have streamed...
