I have started to get intermittent disconnects on my PC connected via ethernet, and dropouts at the same time on devices connected via WiFi.
I've had this router since August or September of 2009. It has worked really well up until now. I thought it was my ISP at first until I connected ethernet directly to PC instead of through router when issues were occurring and had no problems. It often starts happening more when I'm using multiple devices at once (streaming tv show over wifi to PS3, while trying to browse on iphone, while downloading on PC through ethernet), but does still happen at normal times. Is this something...

AppleTV, Boxee and Hulu
Running AppleTV with the Boxee hack. All videos look great - apple trailers, videos from a network share - except for HULU video. Anyone know of workarounds to make Hulu better on the Boxee / AppleTV setup?

My xbox 360 and Windows vista laptop
How will they do with an Apple Airport Extreme? can they connect to the wireless network because i've heard that the xbox 360 can't, and i've also heard that hooking it up directly (if that's possible) is slower.

Back to my Mac with Airport Extreme
Has anyone had any luck with getting the Back to my Mac with an Airport Extreme with an external hd hooked up to it. My MBP sees it when I am on a different network, but it gives me an error when I try to access it. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck, I know that Back to My Mac is usually unstable.

5GHz wireless N USB adapter with Windows 7
Is anyone successfully using a 5GHz wireless N USB adaptor with their Airport Extreme Dual Band on Windows 7 RC1? I just returned my Linksys WUSB600N to Radioshack after I could not get it to work and found other people not getting it to work with even Vista. It was a dual-band adapter but just would not connect to my 5GHz network. I contacted Linksys support and they were unable to help me. I'd be extremely grateful if someone could recommend a wireless adapter for this scenario. P.S....

Experience w/ 2 AirPort Extreme dual-band to extend network on both bands?
Has anyone tried this: Starting with 2 of the new AirPort Extreme dual-band routers, use 1 base station to extend the range of the other (main router w/ internet connectivity) on both bands - 2.4GHz and 5GHz - simultaneously? I've done this with the older, single-band, units successfully, but I'm looking to see if anyone has done this for dual-bands. Bonus question: if dual-bands work, does guest networking extension (WDS) work?

How to tell the difference between Wireless N and Wireless N (draft)
Is there a major difference in speed? How would you tell the difference if I need to buy one?

Apple Logo Worth the Extra?
This router has a really nice feature in the simultaneous dual band, but does that make it worth the money. I use Linksys routers and I can get one with the same features for less money. If I wanted to stray from Linksys or Apple, I could get it for even cheaper. I don't buy the "it just works" argument because the Linksys routers don't require a brain to set up either. Is there anything else that puts the Airport Extreme ahead of the game?

Impromptu Time Capsule?
Hello, My family still uses the old UFO styled airport extreme, and it has the same USB slot in the back of it as one can see in the updated version's image. I've heard that it is intended for the use of a printer on a network, but I was wondering if anyone has heard of connecting an external hard drive to the device? As the thread title implies, I'm interested in creating a time-capsule-like system without purchasing a new one for 300 or 400 dollars. Would anyone happen to know of...

Apple Airport Extreme Router
Over the past 18 months I have been moving all home computers from PC's to Mac's! During this transition I continued to use D-Link routers and about two months ago I purchased the Apple Airport Extreme. Good grief, WHAT a difference . . . especially impressive is the much larger foot print / coverage area! Set up was a breeze, and of course it plays well with the other Mac's on my LAN . . an old G4 iBook in the entertainment center, a new 13" Mac Book used exclusively by my wife...

Don't waste your time with the cheap stuff
Been using Airport networking products for 6 years. I am now so spoiled that I cringe when I have to troubleshoot other networks. I love these routers because they are efficient at solving connection issues without user intervention, and a breeze to configure. What do you like best about Airport Extreme?
