If I had to pick one word to describe the Doxie scanner from Apparent Corporation, I'd go with easy. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and (with one exception I'll get to later) easy to learn how to use.

Overall, for it's class of scanners...Doxie is an excellent choice for "as it comes" scanning into Evernote and the like.
