Detailed review
The Kindle is a great ebook reader. I absolutely love the whispernet connectivity, no need for a computer, and it allows you to download books anywhere, anytime. I think this is the greatest strength of the Kindle, something that other ebook readers do not offer, (I have never connected my Kindle to my computer).

I didn't give the Kindle a 10 because it does not handle PDF documents well, other than that, it has great battery life, it's easy to use, and the Amazon Kindle User Website is easy to navigate. Page turns are quick and although I'm a lefty, the configurations of the buttons for turning pages are still pretty convenient.

As with other ebook readers, there is no backlight, so reading in bed still requires a good lamp (or a clip on book lamp).

I have only experienced minor problems with the Kindle, I let the battery completely drain one time and had to remove the battery and use the reset button to get it going again. Directions on the Kindle support site took me through the process.

Overall, I highly recommend the Kindle.
