Any one have consider, or already have upgrade this to Windows 7? Any issues? Tips?

So i am going away for college this fall and i need a laptop and i definitely want something powerful which is why i am looking at this laptop. I don't want to get something underpowered and would like it to last me a pretty long time, which i am confident this laptop will do the job for me. However, i know it isn't exactly light and i may end up getting distracted by games. I am going to be attending engineering classes. What can you tell me about the laptop, think it is a good choice...
