The One Touch Scribe Easy is a 5-inch WVGA display, 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU, 5-megapixel shooter, a large 2500 mAh battery to power the whole thing and a clever magnetic cover called the MagicFlip.

Although it may not be the sexiest device around, I'm guessing that the wallet-friendly price and included accessories will get people considering the Scribe Easy as their next device, though I'm also guessing that the round rather than pointy stylus tip will turn some people off.

The Scribe Easy is quite similar to the Scribe HD in design, but all of the components have been scaled back to create a more affordable price point... This certainly isn't the hottest new phablet on the block, but for the right price, I'm thinking it can stir up some interest.

In our brief hands-on time with the Scribe Easy we were happy to see the little touches such as a magnetic MagicFlip that both carries the stylus, and protects the display from scratches. Also, Aclatel differentiates with vibrant colors - Flash Red, Fresh Blue, and Flash Yellow.
